Communicating with respect: teaching business etiquette and intercultural communication in higher education and vocational training centers in the Euro-Mediterranean region

Aim & goals

The main goal of the project was to develop a curriculum in business etiquette,
related to cultural and religious differences, to promote intercultural
dialogue and improve communication techniques and methods in intercultural
environment of the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The project encouraged and realized respect for cultural and religious aspects by creating opportunities for broad intercultural dialogue.
The main part of this was the training for the study of cultural and religious differences, stereotypes, habits and non-verbal communication, which was attended by students from Bulgaria and Palestine. This has aroused great interest in view of the specific status of Palestine.
