On 26 March 2026, the international forum “Stronger Together Through Dialogue: Strengthening Innovation and Governance in the Black Sea Basin” was held in Çorlu, Türkiye, organized within the framework of the DIALOGUE project with the financial support of the INTERREG NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.
The event brought together more than 100 representatives of businesses and industry organizations, the non-governmental sector, public authorities, research organizations and higher education institutions from Türkiye, Romania and Bulgaria. The forum aimed to foster dialogue and cooperation among key stakeholders in the regional innovation ecosystem.
Focus on cooperation for innovation
The forum featured topics related to the role of cooperation in driving innovation and building a more effective regional innovation system. The main conclusions were discussed both through expert presentations and in a moderated panel involving representatives of all elements of the quadruple helix – business, public institutions, research organizations and civil society.
Launch of the Black Sea Innovation Platform – DialogueInnoHub
A key moment of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the project partners, officially launching the Black Sea Innovation Platform – DialogueInnoHub. The platform aims to create a space for knowledge exchange, partnership building and the development of joint innovation initiatives in the region.
Opportunities for partnerships and new projects
The following day – 27 March 2026 – the First Meeting of the Platform‘s members also took place. Participants had the opportunity to become members of the platform, as well as to take part in various sessions for partner search and joint development of project ideas. The functionalities of the DialogueInnoHub Platform were also discussed, which would benefit its members and help support the development of new interregional innovation initiatives.

The DIALOGUE project “Dialogue for Innovation and Better Governance” aims to foster cooperation among stakeholders in the region for the development of more effective innovation ecosystems. The project is a joint initiative of 4 organizations – 2 from Türkiye, 1 from Bulgaria and 1 from Romania. It is funded by the INTERREG NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme and runs until December 2026.
